This tiny changeling has a wide range of color changes for a changeable. The flowers begin yellow/apricot and change to a red over the course of three days. The young leaves begin with purple mottles that fade to green. These flowers stay open late in the day just for you folks that are away from your garden all day long.

This is a beautiful blend of yellow, pink, and apricot colors on a star-shaped flower. Here in the cooler temperatures the pink makes a strong showing. Although Perry Slocum (one of the grandaddies of waterlily breeding) recommends this plant for a southern climate, I enjoy its more intense colors here in Humboldt just as well. The leaves are mostly green with some faint mottling.

Graziella and Chrysantha are thought to be the same. In any case, the creamy yellow flowers deepen to orange-red by third day. Purple blotched leaves add visual interent. This is a hardy plant that does well in a small water garden. It prefers a cooler location as it doesn't bloom as well in very hot climates.

Light reddish pink outter petals progress to soft yellow toward the inner petals. This star shaped flower indeed does favor a grapefruit in color.
